This wouldn't be the first time a host only covers their games (it might also be the case at Babson and Ohio Wesleyan this year). It is a choice that I can
understand from their point of view, but makes me pretty frustrated when I know people are there who have the capability to get the game out. I appreciate the
effort at a place like Hobart where they do radio for their own game, but don't forget to do livestats for the other match. Nevertheless, the amount of
video this year along with the number of hosts doing all games in encouraging.
Don't give out hope just yet. The Wheaton hosting announcement, for example, doesn't mention they'll be streaming their own game. It's a bit of a rush preparing to host, and maybe the info online isn't up to date. The reason to worry is that their broadcasting goes through a local radio/tv channel, and it is likely that people who live in the area don't want to see Wittenberg/Carroll over regular programming. *EDIT: Looks like I take it back. Babson and Wheaton will both be providing livestats for the second game at their site. Ohio Wesleyan stepped up and changed their video listing to carry all 3 of their games. Not too shabby.

Where is this "list" of all the broadcast or are you looking at the host websites? Thanks!

I am (and have been throughout the season) updating the first post of this thread to include links to all the current games in one place. I've done it for
the last two tournaments, and this year did it for the regular season as well.
During that time, I've built up a bookmarks page of what the usual suspects do (Messiah radio, Wheaton tv, JHU livestats, etc) so it doesn't take as long to find a lot of the information. The three main sources of info are hosting press releases on team pages, coverage links from team schedules, and links from a school's main athletic page. Many schools' athletic departments maintain their own list of all the sports broadcasts they offer (like this one for Calvin: http://secure.stretchinternet.com/demo/games.php?user=calvin&o=cal_stamp), so it is a simple enough matter to go through and pick out the soccer ones. It does take a while to search for each team, but there are some standard guidelines like the host school is most likely to provide coverage... and there are only something like 11 host sites.

NCAA Broadcasts of 1st Round | #25 | ||
|
laper20, as NFK stated it still may be up in the air if and which games Wheaton will push out on video looking at their website. In fairness to them, they have the women's team competing in the NCAA's as well and it possibly could be an issue of having availability of people to do all the broadcasts this weekend. |

I'm going to have my Laptop with me for the SIT/RPI game... if I can get any internet connection that is stable I'll try to do an audio-only broadcast
from the bleachers.
Keep live stats available in case I can't get anything though. |

That would be cool. Babson will be broadcasting live video without commentary, so fans with the computer power could stream both at once for the general
effect.

Oh they do have video for our game.... Last I saw it was only going to be Video for the Babson/RIC game and livestats for SIT.
I'll still make the effort, but it's good to know something more than livestats is available. |

Last minute finds: the previously "livestats only" Richard Stockton group will now have Christopher Newport traveling up there and streaming audio.
Link on the first post as always.
Also, please note that Calvin has listed their own audio broadcast of their match on their streaming page. This might come in handy for a useful combo, because if I recall correctly from last year, Ohio Wesleyan's video feed is without commentary. In case you have some beef with Loras's video webcast (you can't get it to work, doesn't stream properly, commentators annoy you, who knows), a local Greenville radio station will also be broadcasting an audio version of the game called by one of the Greenville womens' players. I linked that one also. Weird, it looks like Rose-Hulman will be doing the same thing at Loras by offering their own audio broadcast. I wouldn't really recommend this one unless you're in a tight spot, however, because the required winamp download looks more complicated than your average bear. Finally, a story on Susquehanna's site (http://www.susqu.edu/Sports/releases/Fall08/2008_ncaa_soccer_championships-general_release.html) says they're hosting a viewing party of the online stream on their campus. Sounds like a cool blend of school spirit and D3 soccer on the tubes.

I had the video up and it looked beautiful. Then I tried to open the audio stream at the same time and it crashed my browser.
EDIT: Ok, now I have them both up and working.

Glad to see that RU-C vs Swat is the only 5:00 game being broadcasted. It is a must watch. With no other games having a live video feed, its a must watch. The
Dickinson-Salisbury game is also an added bonus.

Last Guy, I am definitely watching both these games. When I first looked at the bracket this group stuck out to me as a really good one. Swat is tough, but
if you recall JHU put them down 3-1!
EDIT: And for anybody whom might find value in saving some of these high quality streams....................... http://www.infocellar.com...tware/streaming-media.htm
