But... if the men were to host and the women were to play at Dickinson, I could only hope that both teams win and that the women's game is early so I could catch both teams. Am I asking too much?

Posts: 319 11/13/05 07:04 PM	I had thought the women might travel to Christopher Newport, but they have been defeated. I would think Dickinson would be a good candidate. I'm with you FalconAlum02... I'm can only hope for some favorable scheduling to allow me to get a chance to see both in action next weekend.

Posts: 784 11/14/05 05:38 PM	It would appear our prayers have been answered, so to speak. The women's sectional final is at Dickinson at 1, the men's in Grantham at 6. Now we just need the teams to co-operate and win their Sweet 16 games.

Posts: 319 11/17/05 10:55 AM	I just saw today that WVMM is planning to broadcast both the women's and men's games this weekend. Please note Messiah should play around 1:30 Friday despite Messiah publishing the time as 1:00. The first game starts at 11:00 so Messiah couldn't possible be starting at 1:00. I will be at the games and wont be able to post any updates till after the fact.

Posts: 784 11/19/05 10:36 AM	Alright, a great 3 for 3 for Falcon teams yesterday, with the field hockey team advancing to the national title game, and both soccer teams reaching the quarterfinals. How about another 3 for 3 today, giving Messiah a national title and 2 Final Four berths on the weekend? I will be out at Dickinson this afternoon! Finally, after almost 3 weeks without seeing either team play, I get to watch them both take their shots at return trips to Greensboro.

Posts: 784 11/19/05 09:33 PM	Well, no 3 for 3, but 2 for 3 is great, with 2 Falcon soccer teams headed to G-boro again. 3 Final Fours in the last 4 years for the ladies, and they get a matchup with Chicago as opposed to a rematch with Puget Sound. Interestingly enough, the other two occupants of the Final 4 could be teams that Messiah played in the regular season, if Oneonta and Dension win their quarters tomorrow. Two games against quarterfinalists (at least) in the regular season. Talk about a tough schedule.
