Nice work 32....its a good place, but it's no Murph's Study Hall. Well atleast the old version, when it was taco night. One of my favorite rivalries in the ODAC. History is not on LC's side, as I think they are 0 for 18 years against Noke. I think it goes down to the wire, with LC coming out with a late goal 1-0. |

Taco night was a classic, as well as the standard Wednesday wing special. Two great dinners back to back for about 10 bucks. Can't beat that in college.

LC vs HSC game includes 10 cards, 2 straight reds, and a card per coach. Heard the ref made a joke of the game. Both reds were questionable. Still a heated
rivalry, but not that bad. 36 total fouls.
Any predictions for the ODAC tournament seeding? |

here... "We may love your coach, but we still hate Lynchburg!" ... well, only when they are playing us, I pull for Lynchburg the rest of the time!

This has to be the best final gameday to determine the ODAC regular season in recent memory... I say LC and Sydney both battle it out for a close win.

Sydney spanks 'noke 5-1...WOW did not see that coming...any reason why the Starks kid from Noke didnt play? He's started and played 90 minutes
everygame this season except for regular season finalle with a chance to take 1st place back over going into the confernce tournament.... or at least he wasnt
listed as having played on the boxscores????
good luck to lynchburg and va wes tonight..that game is going to be a battle and is too close to call...im saying 20T tie! |

That is a shocking result. Hampden-Sydney's schedule is pretty weak so I haven't thought much of their 14-3-0 mark. On the other hand I thought that if
there was a prize for best team with 7 blemishes, Roanoke wins hands-down. Never would have imagined such a lopsided victory in HSC's favor.
Would be interesting to know what the deal is with Starks not playing. Would seem that that made some difference. Starting defender who never gets subbed out doesn't play and a team that only gave up as many as 2 goals in 3 out of 18 games all of a suddens lets in 5 in one game!!! As Iron Sharpens Iron |

Despite HSC's schedule, they are a very formidable squad that is up there with the rest of the ODAC and can hold their own against anyone you want to throw
at them. Not having Stark, hands down their best player definitely hurts but 5-1??? wow... anyone have any updates on the LC v VWC game?

congrats to Va Wes, and Sydney for the big wins last night. Also congrats to all the teams who made it to the tournament.
Looks like the tournament should have some very interesting games for us to enjoy this year. Should be an interesting one and every team has a pretty decent shot of making a run. Looks like this may be one of the ODAC's stronger years hopefully proving to have some battles throughout the ODAC tournament. As for the question that has arisen about Starks I looked into it a little last night after the game and from what I gathered talking to some followers of the ODAC and 'Noke, rumor has it, the H1N1 virus held him out of the game last night. Still kind of in disbelief that Sydney walloped "Noke as bad as they did |

He was on 4 yellow cards and the coach didn't want to take the chance of him getting another and sitting out the first round ODAC game...

yeah absolutely FW, what if he gets his fifth then. If that is why they kept him out of the game then that is absolutely horrible. First place is on the
line as well as home field advantage and you sit one of your best players. Well it cost them, instead of 1st they fell to 4th. Not a very good strategy.
The way our team use to go about it was put them in the game and get a yellow card to get it over with so they are free and clear for the playoffs. Guys use to come in and just kick guys and foul and push till the ref gave them a yellow. Nothing malicious to get anywhere near a red, but get the yellow and be done with it. |
