Lynchburg dominated for 90 minutes but couldn't score more than one goal on 42 shots!!! The game could have easily have been 7-1

Tough game tonight for Noke against CNU, after just barely getting nipped Sunday by Salisbury. I think that CNU wins 1-0 in OT!

Yeah, I haven't seen CNU play... but talking to others, they are solid. I would have to go with them on this one as well. Noke certainly doesn't have
an easy schedule this year!

Well CNU won 2-1, but I heard that Roanoke should have won the game. They had some great looks in front of the net and put them everywhere but in the net.
Big South region games this week for CNU, VWC, Noke, and NCWes who all play each other in the next week.

I watched the last 15 mins of VWC Noke on the webcast. Wesleyan was pounding them but couldn't find the net and then Noke gets a corner and bangs it home
to win 3-2. Tough loss for us, I thought we were possibly going to get the W, but how quickly it changed. Another tough one at CNU this week too.

Battle at the beach tonight!! CNU hosting VWC! This is a big game for bragging rights in the hampton roads area. Should be a great game tonight!

Both CNU and VWC played Messiah very tough a few weekends ago. VWC seems like a team just outside the Top 25 so far (even with the loss to Roanoke last Fri.). If CNU is looking past VWC to York, they could certainly get beat. Should be a good one! BTW, maxkdub20, love the avatar. Tough start to the season. Could use someone like Bettis right now . . . and Troy back would help. As Iron Sharpens Iron

Thank you FW! Yeah Jerome is the man and it does look like we need him right about now to run over some guys. Once we get Troy back i think we will get
rolling again. I also wonder how much the civil suit against ben is affecting his play. He is not looking to hot right now. Its been tough so far, just
waiting for it to get better!

From the write-up, this game sounded pretty intense. Definitely seems like it could've gone either way, especially seeing as it was 40 seconds from a tie.
Anyone there/know how the CNU keeper got his yellows?

VWC smashes E&H 11-0
HSC beat Mary Wash 2-1 Lynchburg upsets Salisbury 2-1 Some good teams in the odac that can play with anyone in the country. Maybe this will be the year they get a few teams in the NCAA tourney. |
