It's that time of the year - BRACKETOLOGY TIME!. Same rules as last year. Post in this thread your 26 first-round picks, 16 second round,
etc. by the deadline (10 AM Thursday, November 13) to be included. I will assume you can count and complete a bracket correctly. Any posting edited after the
deadline will be considered void.
Scoring will be 1 point for each first round game correctly picked, 2 for each second round match, 3 for each third, and so on to 6 points for the championship. I chose an arithmetic progression of points instead of the usual geometric progression to keep people interested in the contest longer.
The prize is the same as last year: I will prominently wear to the opening match of JHU's season next year any officially sanctioned and appropriately-sized article of men's outer clothing (no underwear!) depicting your school's logo that you care to provide. If you choose not to provide any, I will wear your team's colors. (Hey, this is a low-budget operation; you don't see any advertising on THIS site, do you?) I will also donate $25 in the name of your school to the children's charity of your choice. Finally, the winner will receive his/her choice of D3Soccer.net apparel. One caveat - if you have won D3Soccer.net apparel this year and you win the contest, you get the other prizes mentioned above, but the apparel will go to the highest finisher who has not won apparel this year.
Everyone gets credit for the 6 first round byes. That way no one goes home with less than 6 points.
I will update the scoring after my normal update of D3Soccer.net each game day. Scoring will be posted as a web page linked from here.
