NFK what about an award for Messiah having clips of all of their goals on video to watch on their website? Not sure if anyone else does that but pretty nifty

A big thanks goes out to you for taking the time to list and continually update the broadcasting schedule throughout the season. We even got a few matches listed on the women's side included this year. Now that the season has ended, it would be so cool if these matches would be archived somewhere so we could tap into them and watch them again, or for the first time if we missed them. Alright, it is time for the 2008 version of my completely unofficial webcasting awards. I watch a lot of games from around D3, and this should give you some idea of who is leading the way on the tubes:

Best Postseason Broadcast
Williams via d3cast.com. For their conference tournament and NCAA run this year, Williams sent out a large resolution video broadcast complete with commentary, score/time on-screen header, multiple camera angles, and (get this) instant replay....

Every year after the tournament, I like to take a moment to say thank you to all the people out there who do web coverage and make watching/following DIII soccer possible for people like myself who can't make it to matches. Oops, it was definitely me who goofed up on the Messiah/CNU start time. I think it was because someone had mentioned streaming 4 games at once today... so I had that in the back of my mind while just going along on autopilot, not consulting the team pages.

Both the CNU Sectional webpage and the Messiah schedule list 3 p.m. There is no reason to think the participating and hosting schools are wrong.

BTW, it actually is a deviation from the standard games times according to the handbook (single games at 1 p.m. is by sunlight, 6 p.m. if by field lighting).

NKF...is the Messiah/CNU game at 6? It's listed on Messiah and CNU's site as a 3 o'clock start.

I don't know. BJF couldn't get anything either, but that included no audio. You might try using another player found on the internet that is compatible with Windows video, like VLC. I had tv quality with vista and WMP version 11.0.6000.6344 on default settings.

Is there any reason why the video portion never came up for me on the empire8.tv webcasts? I was getting the audio fine, but no video. I restarted numerous times with no difference. Is there some setting/configuration in my windows media player that I might have to change? Very interesting as it's the first WMP webcast this tournament that I couldn't get a picture. It's probably something simple, but . . .

Stevens Broadcasts can be obtained at www.empire8.tv for our Sectional. The games are free, and only require an account with Penn Atlantic to add selected videos to your cart.
Our commentary team is ready to go.

i'm pumped that they are showing all of the regional games.
however, couldn't they stagger starting times? I mean, Sunday night i'm going to be attempting to stream 4 games at once!
